The Finger Lakes region is home to some of the best wineries ever, in my opinion. They make especially good rieslings (if you're into them, which I used to be when I liked sweet wines), and really great fruit wines. These are still too sweet, in my opinion, so I like to make them into spritzers by adding seltzer water to them.
The best of the bunch is the Radical Raspberry from Swedish Hills. I swear to you on my sundress collection that it tastes exactly like liquified raspberries. As this is obviously the essence of summer, I call it summer-in-a-bottle and MUST have it on hand for the first hot day of the year. Here it is, in all its glory:

ReplyDeleteTracy, you can get it at stores near me (Century, for instance, but also a lot of the smaller ones) so I'm sure you can get it out in Wayne County too! :)
